It's All In the Family – The Schulte Family!

It's hard to believe that it's just been one year since Bruce Charles Designs launched. And over this past year, we've had so much fun creating and spinning Schulte tops your way! With the four tops - Schulte Brass, Schulte Bronze, Schulte Stainless Steel, Schulte Fused Aluminum and Brass - the Schulte family of spinning tops is complete.

Our original Schulte is the Schulte Brass. That's where it all started! The "Schulte" was designed several years ago after Bill Strahan acquired his first metal lathe. As he gained experience turning different materials, he made a list of projects as challenges for himself on the use of the lathe, one of which was a brass spinning top.

After the Schulte Brass launched, Bill kept at it with his lathe. The idea of a family of Schulte tops was born, and the Schulte Bronze was the next to spin your way. The Schulte Bronze is CNC machined from a single piece of bronze and delivers a stunning natural rose gold colored finish. 

But the family wasn't complete quite yet. In July, the Schulte Stainless Steel was born. Identical in form, quality, and craftsmanship to the other Schultes, this version boasts a stunning high luster silver finish.

And last, but not least, the Schulte Fused Aluminum and Brass joined the family of Schulte tops in August. This newest addition features two metals - an aircraft-grade aluminum core and a solid brass outer ring - that delivers a unique natural raw machined finish.

We've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Schulte family of tops roll their way into pockets and onto desks across the globe this past year. With meticulous attention to detail, each Schulte - whether Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel, or Fused Aluminum and Brass - achieves perfect form, weight, and balance. We promise any member of the family can spin that timeless fun into the present with our signature blend of the finest materials and masterful craftsmanship.
