5.0 out of 5 stars Kicks ForeverSpin Butt

I bought the 18kt gold-plated ForeverSpin top as a gift. You could see right through the gold plating, and it was an amazingly poor spinner. I thought there must be an impressive spinning top somewhere worthy of gifting. Then I found the Bruce Charles top on Amazon. This thing is a design marvel and makes the ForeverSpin seem like a joke by comparison. This is the one that actually spins forever. It has a beefy knurled spinning shaft so you can impart some real torque. It has a low center of gravity and most of the weight away from the shaft. A real engineer designed this. It just spins and spins. And it was half the price of the ForeverSpin. I bought the ForeverSpin on their web site where they have a no-return policy, so I am stuck with it. Even so, I leave the two tops out on the spin tray so people can compare the well engineered top to the piece of junk.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10/10 would spin again.

I am 28 years old, haven't spun a top since the 90s. Gave this a spin on my coffee table and got no less than 6 minutes on my first spin. It's compact, hefty, and well machined. The fused brass and aluminum are elegant together. Very neat to have something that fits in a small pocket, can be given minimal effort, and provides several minutes of enjoyment and suspense. I'll be brining it to work to distract customers while I get all of their items together in the computer. Everyone loves watching a top. Great buy. If you're on the fence, and have a few extra bucks, go for it!

5.0 out of 5 stars 9 minute spin time

I really enjoy this top. I spun it on the Bruce Charles 100mm fused silica glass. The highest spin time I was able to get was just over 9 minutes.

Effortless

I cannot believe how little effort it takes to spin this top for what seems like forever. It is definitely one of my longest spinning tops.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT TOP AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE

I HAVE 2 OF THESE QUALITY BRUCE CHARLES SCHULTE TOPS. THE ALL STAINLESS STEEL AND THIS BRASS AND ALUMINUM. THEY ARE SMOOTH SPINNING TOPS. WELL BALANCED AND THEY CENTER THEMSELVES QUICKLY. THE STEM IS A LITTLE BIGGER THEN WHAT I LIKE BUT EASY STILL EASY TO LAUNCH. THEY MAKE GREAT EDC POCKET TOPS AND BEST OF ALL YOU CAN'T BEAT THEIR PRICE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE OF THESE SCHULTE TOPS IN YOUR COLLECTION, GET ONE. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Well made

Excellent craftsmanship! More difficult to spin correctly than some of the slightly larger, heavier tops that I have. However, when I get a good spin it spins for a long time. Being a beginner the problem is probably me rather than the top. Time and practice will tell.
