Fused Aluminum & Brass Schulte Spinning Top

The Fused Aluminum & Brass Schulte Spinning Top is our longest spinning top.

Built from aircraft-grade aluminum and solid brass, this two-tone metal spinning top combines lighter weight with precise balance to deliver exceptional performance. In the right conditions, spins of 12 minutes or more are achievable.

Pick it up and you’ll immediately notice the difference. At just 0.7 ounces, it launches easily, accelerates quickly, and then settles into a steady, composed spin that just keeps going.

Spin it once and you’ll understand.

Fused Aluminum & Brass. Built for Performance.

Each top is CNC machined for accuracy and balance, using solid brass and aircraft-grade aluminum. The lighter aluminum body allows for fast acceleration, while the brass core provides stability throughout the spin.

That combination is what gives this version its edge. It comes up to speed quickly and holds that speed longer than any other Schulte model.

The polished silver and gold finish highlights the machining and gives the top a crisp, mechanical look that stands out on any desk.

Engineered for Long Spins

The knurled upper section gives you a confident grip so you can apply real torque at launch. That control, combined with the reduced weight and precision balance, results in our longest spin times.

A silicon nitride ceramic bearing reduces friction and keeps the rotation smooth and consistent from start to finish.

No unnecessary noise. No wobble. Just a clean, controlled spin that goes and goes.

Built to Be Used

This is the kind of desk spinning top you reach for again and again. Light enough to launch easily. Balanced enough to stay steady.

It looks sharp sitting still, but it was designed to move.

A Gift That Stands Out

The contrast of aluminum and brass gives this version a distinct presence. When someone opens the box and sees the silver and gold combination, they know it is something different.

It is a gift that gets handled, spun, and talked about.

Amazing top

Got 10 minutes on my first spin. You can tell just how much craftsmanship and effort goes into these tops. Best spinning top you can find for such a good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kicks ForeverSpin Butt

I bought the 18kt gold-plated ForeverSpin top as a gift. You could see right through the gold plating, and it was an amazingly poor spinner. I thought there must be an impressive spinning top somewhere worthy of gifting. Then I found the Bruce Charles top on Amazon. This thing is a design marvel and makes the ForeverSpin seem like a joke by comparison. This is the one that actually spins forever. It has a beefy knurled spinning shaft so you can impart some real torque. It has a low center of gravity and most of the weight away from the shaft. A real engineer designed this. It just spins and spins. And it was half the price of the ForeverSpin. I bought the ForeverSpin on their web site where they have a no-return policy, so I am stuck with it. Even so, I leave the two tops out on the spin tray so people can compare the well engineered top to the piece of junk.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10/10 would spin again.

I am 28 years old, haven't spun a top since the 90s. Gave this a spin on my coffee table and got no less than 6 minutes on my first spin. It's compact, hefty, and well machined. The fused brass and aluminum are elegant together. Very neat to have something that fits in a small pocket, can be given minimal effort, and provides several minutes of enjoyment and suspense. I'll be brining it to work to distract customers while I get all of their items together in the computer. Everyone loves watching a top. Great buy. If you're on the fence, and have a few extra bucks, go for it!

5.0 out of 5 stars 9 minute spin time

I really enjoy this top. I spun it on the Bruce Charles 100mm fused silica glass. The highest spin time I was able to get was just over 9 minutes.
